Only open for two weeks the new Fairview Inn restaurant is off to a good start. Food and drinks excellent. Service very good. Our server seemed highly professional and experienced. I have high hopes for this restaurant and definitely am planning a return visit.

To sum up my experience: the price was very high relative to the quality of the food and service. The meat was very well done and the pasta was stuck together and poorly prepared. The service was the worst part. Waitress did not return for extended periods, did not clear the table in a timely manner and gave us desert menus before clearing the table. She was also not familiar with the menu or the beer list. I would expect this of a restaurant with $12 entrees not $25+ entrees. Will not return and do not recommend.
The service was good for a place learning the ropes in the middle of busy season. The food was quite good, a little salty, but I don't eat salt so any salt is too much. The flavors were good and the menu varied. Nice offerings. Staff and owners attentive. It's gonna be a great place!
First date night with wife in months on August 25th and boy did I choose a terrible restaurant. Waited in the bar for our table to be ready and only took 20 minutes to place drink order followed by having to physically get up to go to the end of the bar to retrieve our martinis should have been first red flag to try something different. Proceeded to dinner, okay service and wife ordered the salmon which was very well prepared and I ordered the Steak Frites Medium, and received it well done. Waitress apologized and promptly tried again. When she brought out second try, it too was over cooked and needless to say I was done. Notified waitress that is too was not done properly and was satisfied and they would not take it off our bill which was fine as this was our first and last visit at this restaurant.
